Smoky Mountain Wedding Venue at the Largest Tiny Home Village
More Than Just a Location
Planning a destination wedding involves more than choosing a beautiful ceremony location — it means creating an experience where family and friends can celebrate together throughout the entire weekend. At Sojourn Lodging, couples have the opportunity to host both their wedding and accommodations in one walkable property, eliminating many of the logistical challenges that come with traditional destination weddings.
As the largest tiny home community in the Smoky Mountains, Sojourn Lodging combines private accommodations with dedicated event space, allowing couples to celebrate with up to 60 guests while keeping everyone together in one location.

Ceremony & Reception
The Grand Sojourn wedding venue is designed for couples seeking an outdoor ceremony with mountain views and an indoor reception space nearby.
Ceremonies take place on the Observation Deck, which overlooks the surrounding Smoky Mountains and is especially popular during sunset ceremonies.
Following the ceremony, guests transition to the Welcome Center, the indoor reception venue. Both spaces are within the tiny home community — no transportation needed.
Venue Package Includes
- Exclusive use of the Observation Deck and Welcome Center from 10:00 AM until 11:00 PM
- Chairs and tables for up to 60 guests
- Day-of venue assistance from our team
- Access to electrical service for entertainment and catering needs
- Use of surrounding common areas throughout the property
Accommodations
One of the primary advantages of hosting a wedding at Sojourn Lodging is the ability to keep everyone together while still providing each household with its own private accommodations.
Unlike a single large vacation rental where every guest shares common living space, or a hotel where guests are spread throughout multiple floors, each family or couple has their own private tiny home located just a short walk from the ceremony and reception.
The Grand Sojourn wedding package requires a minimum reservation of 15 tiny homes, which is separate from the venue rental fee.

A Destination Wedding Weekend
Rather than gathering for only a few hours, many couples choose to turn their wedding into a full weekend experience.
Guests often arrive the day before the ceremony and spend time together enjoying the shared amenities throughout the property. Families gather around the fire pits, enjoy evening sunsets from the Observation Deck, play pickleball, explore the walking paths, or simply spend time together before and after the wedding. Because everyone stays on-site, couples are able to spend significantly more time with family and friends than they typically would at a traditional wedding venue.

Getting Ready
Many couples use the tiny homes as private getting-ready spaces on the morning of the wedding. Because multiple homes are located close together, bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents, and immediate family can reserve neighboring accommodations while still having their own private space. Hair and makeup artists can comfortably work within the homes, and family members have plenty of room to prepare before the ceremony begins.

Catering & Dining
The Welcome Center serves as the primary indoor reception space for catered dinners, buffets, speeches, and dancing.
For a more casual celebration, the Cookout Zone includes community grilling stations. The Observation Deck includes electrical outlets that accommodate warming trays and catering equipment for buffet-style service.

Rain Plan
Mountain weather can be unpredictable, so every wedding includes an established backup plan.
If weather prevents an outdoor ceremony, events can move inside the Welcome Center. Couples also have the option of renting a tent to cover the Observation Deck if they wish to continue using the outdoor ceremony space.
Vendor Flexibility
Rather than requiring couples to use an exclusive vendor list, Sojourn Lodging allows flexibility in selecting many of the professionals involved in the wedding.
Our team provides recommendations for trusted local vendors across a variety of price points and wedding styles. Couples are also welcome to complete many aspects of their wedding themselves if they prefer a more personalized or budget-conscious approach.
Photography Opportunities
The property offers numerous locations for wedding photography without needing to travel off-site. Many couples also schedule first-look photos, bridal portraits, and family portraits throughout the property before the ceremony.

Parking & Guest Logistics

On-Site Parking
One of the biggest advantages of hosting both your wedding and accommodations at Sojourn Lodging is the simplicity of guest logistics. Guests can arrive, park, and remain on-site for the duration of the celebration without coordinating transportation between hotels, cabins, ceremony sites, or reception venues. Because the ceremony, reception, accommodations, and shared gathering spaces are all within walking distance, guests spend less time traveling and more time celebrating together.
Additional Parking Nearby
Short-Term (1–2 Hours)
For guests who need to leave a vehicle nearby for a short period, several convenient public parking options are available throughout Sevierville. Retail parking lots such as Home Depot, Kroger, and Walmart Neighborhood Market may be suitable for brief parking while guests carpool or transfer between vehicles, although guests should always verify any posted restrictions before leaving a vehicle. Tools such as Parkopedia can also help locate nearby parking facilities. Additional daytime parking is often available at Patriot Park, LeConte Center, and The Island in Pigeon Forge, subject to each property's current policies and availability.
Long-Term & Overnight
Guests planning to leave a vehicle overnight or for multiple days should use a dedicated long-term parking provider rather than retail parking lots, as many commercial lots prohibit overnight parking. In Sevierville, services such as Neighbor.com offer reservable overnight and extended-stay parking options that can be booked in advance. Retail parking lots — including Walmart locations — may restrict overnight parking depending on local ordinances and store management, so they should not be relied upon for extended stays.
