For many travelers, a Smoky Mountain vacation isn't complete without their dog. At Sojourn Lodging, we understand that because we're dog owners ourselves. In fact, our three dogs — Noodles, Spike, and Brownie — were regular fixtures throughout the construction of Sojourn, happily supervising the project from start to finish. Their love for the outdoors inspired us to create a place where other dogs could enjoy the Smoky Mountains right alongside their owners.
Unlike many hotels where pets are limited to parking lots and sidewalks, Sojourn offers plenty of room to explore. Our walkable tiny home village features grassy open spaces, quiet roads, and scenic areas perfect for morning walks, evening strolls, or simply getting outside without leaving the property. Whether you're relaxing on your private patio or taking a leisurely walk through the community, there's plenty of space for your dog to stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Please note that Sojourn currently welcomes dogs only. At this time, we are unable to accommodate cats or other types of pets.
Supporting Local Rescue Animals
As part of our commitment to the local community, Sojourn Lodging has donated more than $10,000 in supplies and financial support to the Sevier County Animal Shelter. Along with a cash donation, we've also donated retired linens, towels, blankets, and other hospitality items that help provide comfort and care for rescue dogs while they wait to find their forever homes.

During the booking process, you'll have the option to add a $1 donation to your reservation — and Sojourn Lodging will match every dollar donated, doubling the impact for local animals in need. It's a small way to give back that makes a real difference for rescue dogs in our community.

Sevierville Dog Park
Located within Sevierville City Park at 815–817 Park Road. Features large grassy play areas, plenty of shade, and room for dogs to run, play, and socialize. The surrounding park also offers pickleball and tennis courts, walking trails, playgrounds, and the Sevierville Family Aquatic Center.
Tanger Outlets Sevierville
Outdoor common areas where dogs are welcome. A great stop if shopping is on your itinerary — browse the stores while your pup enjoys the fresh air alongside you.
Dollywood & Doggywood
While dogs aren't permitted inside Dollywood, the park offers Doggywood — an on-site boarding facility where your dog can stay comfortably while you enjoy the park, before reuniting afterward.
Scenic Trails & Parks
Explore the walking paths, parks, and outdoor spaces throughout Sevierville and the surrounding Smoky Mountains. The area offers plenty of dog-friendly options for hiking, sightseeing, and relaxing outdoors.
Pet Policy
To help ensure an enjoyable stay for all guests, we ask that dog owners follow a few simple guidelines.
- Pet Fee: $50 non-refundable fee per stay
- Limit: One dog per tiny home (75-pound maximum)
- Advance Notice: Dogs must be declared when making your reservation.
- When Left Alone: Dogs must be safely crated whenever left unattended in the tiny home.
- On Property: Dogs must remain on a leash in all shared outdoor and common areas.
- Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet during their stay.
Sojourn Lodging reserves the right to refuse or remove any pet that creates a disturbance or poses a safety risk to other guests or the property.
